Combining groove-laden soul with acoustic folk-rock, Dante is a singer songwriter based in New York City.  He is known for his gritty vocals, fingerpicking guitar style, and engaging live performances.  A modern take on a one man band, Dante simultaneously plays a number of instruments.  Switching between guitar and mandolin, he accompanies himself by playing bass, harmonica and percussion all at once.

Rooted in tradition yet fearlessly creative, Dante has become a leading light of the New York area’s music scene.  In addition to starring in Levi's "What's True" commercial campaign, Newsday named Dante in their article, "Best of the Hamptons 2017" and he was voted 2017's Best Male Musician by the popular Hampton’s publication, Dan's Papers.  He has opened on tours with Ben Folds, Guster, and America.

Coming from the folk tradition, Dante's compositions have thoughtful lyrics that often tell a story or speak to a person’s life experiences.  He has won several awards for his songwriting from such organizations as BMG, New York's Peek-A-Boo Songwriter's Festival, and the Sierra Songwriter's Festival.

Being a socially conscious musician, Dante prioritizes giving back through benefit performances and has partnered with organizations such as the FDNY, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Surfrider Foundation, and Church Street School for Music and Art.

Dante is currently in the studio recording his forthcoming album.  Photos from these sessions can be seen on his website and his Facebook page (DantesMusicPage).  A behind the scenes video will be released on these outlets soon.
